The Accounting Associate assists Accounting Supervisors in the day-to-day operations of the unit and helps ensures the efficiency of all the transactions in accordance with the established accounting standards, systems and procedures or based on Firm policies and sound internal control and government requirements.
Main responsibilities of the Accounting Associate include:
- Ensuring the validity of all entries of all transactions
- Preparation of Journal Vouchers
- Handling the encoding of entries for journal voucher adjustments
- Preparation of various government dues
- Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Assisting with the preparation of routine monthly reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
