Credit Risk Analyst  

About the Role:

As our Credit Risk Analyst, you'll take the wheel in identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies in our fast-expanding business, you'll take the wheel in delivering target risk metrics by analyzing data and implementing risk rules, as well as influencing functional stakeholders to implement other broad risk control strategies for the company. With your stellar prioritization and stakeholder management skills, you'll help us ensure Alune as an Aquaculture investment, technology, and expertise to change the way aquaculture is financed, one that our farmers can count on.

There are various role – things you could be working on:

• Conduct credit risk assessment for aquaculture industry specific, including financial and other data points analysis to help to assist in credit decisions.
• Participate in working with the team to develop, improve and monitor our proprietary credit model (a core component of our business).
• Identifying and analyzing trends and concentrations that could affect the risk and performance of portfolios
• Perform standard daily and weekly analyses as well as customized risk analyses and communicate key findings to senior management
• Perform other ad-hoc based tasks related to credit risk function

About You

• Analytical mind and a proficient in mathematics; probability theory in particular
• Knowledge of data analysis

• Coordination skills to understand the requirements of different departments with regard to risk
• Problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• The ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiencies in existing systems
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence software would be beneficial
• Preferred academic background: Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Statistics

Desirable:

• A minimum 2 years in financial industry as an analyst (account manager/underwriter)
• Preferably has experiences in both sides of risk and business department
