Job Description
Alpha OpenSource is looking for Programmers and Software Engineers who will do Research and Development (R&D) using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms in order to create financial trading systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- All candidates must have strong Programming and Math skills, including a practical understanding of Calculus.
- Having a Master's Degree in a technical field, or having work experience and graduate (i.e. Masters and Doctorate) degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a plus, but not required, for as long as you have strong Programming and Math skills.
- Fresh graduates from college may be considered as well, but should demonstrate technical versatility in software development and algorithm implementation.
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and asked to implement or demonstrate, in technical detail, their knowledge on Programming and Mathematics.
Skill Requirements:
- Must know how to program in either: C, C++, Perl, R, Python and or similar languages.
- Strong skills in database management and SQL using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Strong background in Mathematics and Calculus.
