Job Description

reach52 is a fast growing start up, using innovative digital platforms to connect underserved communities to essential healthcare support and an ecosystem of partners. We are looking to hire a responsible, organised and hardworking Administrative Assistant to join our fun-loving, hardworking team as we scale up our programs in 2020!

This role encompasses frequent communication and coordination with our expanding team of Community Access Managers in the barangays, working closely with the Project Implementation Management team and Finance and Operations team across both our offices in Manila and IloIlo.

The core role scope and responsibilities will be:

Administrative duties

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Book team travel arrangements
  • Filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning of documents
  • Community Access Managers Management including computation and releasing of salary, liquidation, assisting in recruitment of CAMs, be key point of contact to arrange trainings and events of CAMs and monitor their activities
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing target results

Office and asset management

  • Work with management on any other business support tasks, and anything to do with reach52 service implementation
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment and devices by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories and records
  • Monitor addition and location of property and equipment
  • Provide reports on assets and properties for disposal
  • Perform asset tagging
  • Maintain pantry and office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Source and procure goods and services needed by reach52
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing target results

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in administrative work
  • Demonstrate interest and knowledge of reach52’s mission
  • A positive and responsible attitude
  • Willingness to learn new skills and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Detail-oriented and organised
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Fluent in English and Tagalog
  • Strong communication skills as this role will require interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of HR processes and recruitment/selection advantageous
  • Knowledge of finance processes and BIR reporting

reach52 (R52) is a social enterprise which aims to bring universal basic healthcare services to communities in low-access, developing regions through an innovative service model and technology platform. Our approach focuses on leveraging existing community facilities (such as shops, churches, schools etc) and people to use a key technology platform to help deliver basic healthcare services to their fellow citizens. This allows core health services to be distributed deeper into communities where traditional healthcare services are unable to reach (such as Barangay Health Centres), giving basic support locally but also providing a navigation service where patients are able to find local clinics, purchase affordable quality medication and microinsurance, understand financing options (PhilHealth, PCSO etc) and connect them to regional and national healthcare facilities.
