Senior Developer | Systems Integrator  

reach52 is seeking to appoint a highly motivated Systems Integrator to take on the role designing and delivering easy to use integration services that can be used by developers and support our partners. We are rapidly expanding our userbase and need to build integration solutions that cut down in barriers and provide flexibility to support this . We currently use JSON based services and will need to support HL7 compliant services externally. The locations of the communities we serve, mean that we have to tailor our services to different consumers, abilities and potentially on different channels.

The role will involve the continuing the development of a core integration solutions with emphasis on cost and consumer value and existing investment. We want the job holder to be able to guide the team in adoption and development of solutions that use integration as a cornerstone, therefore experience in JSON based messaging services is essential. We need the job holder to be able to understand consumer needs and motivations, to be able to problem solve and ability to learn is paramount. The specific technology we use can be learned or taught if necessary. Being a small but growing organisation, the person will need to be able to be flexible within this context as part of the role will be resolving issues arising across the platforms, applications and services.

ROLE SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The core role scope and responsibilities of the Senior Developer / Systems Integrator will be:

• Proposing, managing and implementing Integration projects;
• Understanding and analysing data flow to meet business requirements and their limitations;
• Leading and assuring new solutions;
• Delivering integration services;
• Supporting partners in external data flows;
• Contributing to build and deployment of services;
• Upholding Security and Data privacy;

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years’ experience in integration with delivery roles;
• Knowledge of products and processes to support systems integration;
• Ability to communicate well with developers and non-technical persons both within the organisation and outside;
• Appreciation of the need for design and assurance in a fast-moving organisation;
• Experience of the need for security and data privacy;
• Knowledge in a selection of the following and prepared to learn others as required:
  • Cloud platforms
  • HL7 FHIR and supporting services
  • NoSQL databases
  • Website / API security
  • Data quality and security
  • Logical and physical data analysis techniques
• Ability remote work as a technology leader within teams;
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and/or technology is an advantage;
• Good written and oral communication in Tagalog and English, other regional dialects/languages is an advantage;
• Strong team working skills and flexibility to work as part of a small-but-growing start-up team.
