ALLCARE is an up and coming insurtech startup that focuses on providing important employee benefits to self-employed individuals including freelancers and professionals as well as small and medium businesses.
The Business Development Associate role is an opportunity for any young professional to learn the modern way of effective B2B selling, build their skill set in the solution selling, interact with and work with corporate leaders and executives across a wide variety of industries.
The Business Development Associate will directly work with the founding team of ALLCARE and will assist in any initiatives that will grow the business including sales and marketing, business model review and testing, feedback gathering from customers and introducing new products to existing clients.
This person will be handling our CEBU business.
Other functional responsibilities:
- Nurture and close the leads generated by the marketing team
- Create own pipeline of quality leads
- Win potential clients by understanding their current benefits plan and their pain points
- Communicate with clients across all managerial levels to support their future needs as part of account management
- Assist team lead in analyzing industry developments and competitor strategies needed for recommending appropriate business tactics
- Draft business and commercial proposals and review contracts

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a 4 year course in fields such as Business Management, Public Administration, Psychology, International Studies, Industrial Engineering, Entrepreneurship and similar degrees
- Strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino
- Can clearly communicate his/her ideas
- Excellent in planning but better in execution and follow through
- Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google For Work (GDocs, etc.)
- Experience in Sales or Business Development is preferred, but not required
- Able to build rapport with new contacts (practically strangers)
- Prior experience in prospecting e.g. digital tools for lead hunting, cold calling is preferred but not required
- Capacity in building and nurturing relationships with high-level managers and executives
