Business Intelligence Instructor  

Job Description

Are you passionate about Business Intelligence and empowering others to make data-driven decisions? Algoritma is seeking an experienced instructor to join our team and help deliver customized training solutions to clients across various industries.

As a Business Intelligence Instructor, you will work closely with our Corporate Business Development team to understand our clients' needs and design training curricula that fit their specific business challenges. You will then deliver these trainings, either in-person or online, and provide timely feedback on students' progress. In addition, you will have the opportunity to engage in curriculum development, program outcomes assessment, and learning experience improvement, as well as help design and implement Business Intelligence solutions for divisions within Algoritma.

To be successful in this role, you should have proficiency in market-leading Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. You should also have a track record of continuing professional development and the ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders as a business advisor and thought leader in data and analytics. The Role

• Understand, analyze, develop and deliver course material in the area of BI, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data visualization that fit the requirements.
• Create and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Deliver Business Intelligence training at the Client's venue or online-interactive via Zoom (depending on the projects)
• Design and implement assessments and exams to evaluate student performance.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help students achieve their learning objectives.
• Engage in curriculum development, program outcomes assessment, and learning experience improvement.
• Build and coach the Business Intelligence team development within Algoritma.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies in BI and incorporate that knowledge into course material.
• Collaborate with other instructors and stakeholders to ensure curriculum alignment and quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to students during course work.

Internal Business

• Help to design and implement a Business Intelligence solution for divisions within Algoritma.
• Other duties as assigned and appropriate.
• Get certification sponsored by Algoritma for various Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

We are looking for someone who:

• Strong technical proficiency in BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Data Studio etc.).
• Understanding of data analytics technology stack (e.g., Hadoop/Spark, data warehouses, data streaming, ETL and data governance, predictive analytics, data science framework, etc.)
• Effective at engaging and influencing executive stakeholders as a business advisor and thought leader in data and analytics.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Excellent oral and writing skills in English, and Bahasa Indonesia.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g. computer science, statistics, mathematics, information technology, etc.)
• Proven experience in BI as a practitioner, consultant, or analyst.
