Job Description
- Responsible for creation of product information documents required for worldwide technical support and service of Lexmark’s Printer and MFP products.
- Develop technical service bulletins, problem troubleshooting guides and other product quality information to be used by worldwide support and service audiences including technical support agents, service technicians, and end-users via support.lexmark.com
- Works with multiple departments to analyze customer feedback, on-line knowledgebase content and usage, and solutions from technical escalations to determine what information is needed to help customers and call center agents resolve technical or usage problems.
- Develop information, the individual interacts with service departments and engineering teams to obtain relevant material such as photos, diagrams, instructions, and procedures to develop complete and well organized documents.
- onducts disciplined reviews using subject matter experts to ensure information is accurate and disseminated in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of computer and business industry technological products including hardware, software, and customer applications
- Excellent English writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with web content and graphics editing applications.
- Knowledge of web design principles and best practices, not required but definitely a plus.
- Experience in technical writing and development of customer facing documentation and instructions.
- Familiarity with technical support and customer call center processes is a plus.
