Job Description
- Communicate with end users, vendor, agents and internal resources to obtain any necessary information to complete orders (new, disconnects and moves) for provisioning of voice and data orders.
- Track critical dates for circuit installations, equipment installations, customer move target dates and keep multiple systems update.
- Manage unexpected and last minute changes regarding any part of order and understand how it will affect the entire order process, reschedule other parties involved as needed
- Coordinate with end user, vendor, agent and internal resources the dates required for install and be the main point of contact throughout the process.
- Strong understanding of voice telecommunications including: POTS, trunks, PRI’s, DID’s Toll Free, Integrated voice/data and VoIP
- Strong understanding of data services including: Internet, Broadband, and MPLS
- Identification of optimization opportunities within Telecom environments, especially related to M&A locations
- Maintain database reports and prepares required reports relevant to the operations of the Network Supply Chain
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong technical skills working on voice and data installation and provisioning activities
- Ability to interpret LEC/CLEC customer service records to establish the current environment
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow, AT&T Business Direct, Verizon Enterprise Center, and Tangoe TEM highly desired
- Ability to work with customers, network engineers and/or field technicians
- 2+ year troubleshooting, provisioning and/or turn up experience with Voice and Data services for remote offices and telecommuters
- Ability to deal with a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is required with and to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Exhibit sense of urgency and the ability to discern and be concerned with sensitive customer issues
