Job Description
- Responsible for ensuring that food products meet standards set by company and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third-party inspectors.
- Train quality assurance team and oversee manufacturing and production processes.
- May meet with other supervisors and inspect facilities for compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any issues that arise.
- Review customer feedback and respond to any complaints.
- Prepare reports on food quality status to relay to owners and upper-level management and may keep records of all tests and inspections that have been conducted.
- Must be knowledgeable about all food safety standards that are customary within the food industry and mandated by government regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Graduate of BS Food Tech, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- 2 Years Managerial Experience
- At least 5 years in the food industry
- Solid knowledge in the bakery industry
