Job Description

As Software Engineer Intern, you will gain valuable experience on all aspects of the software development lifecycle. You will be working alongside our Head of Engineering to automate and streamline engineering value streams gathering valuable insights on how data is used to evaluate and motivate engineering teams in the process. This is a highly rewarding role as your contribution will directly impact the performance and quality of output from our engineering teams across the region. If you’re interested in DevOps, CI/CD, Engineering Intelligence, Agile, Data Analytics and related topics, this role is for you.

Notes: We need the candidate to be available immediately to join us.

Responsibilities

Work with our Head of Engineering and his team to fine tune CI/CD templates for our major Software platforms (React, React Native, Android, iOS, Backend, CMS).
Learn how to automate the extraction of key metrics from different systems (JIRA, Git, CI/CD) to build performance dashboards for Engineering Teams.
Develop methodologies to draw insights from data that can positively impact the performance of engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

A strong foundation in Computer Science through a pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science or a related field. Both current students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Some programming experience and familiarity, either through hobby projects or classwork.
Experience in a specific programming language is not required as long as you have a sound knowledge of the fundamentals (i.e Data Structures and Algorithms).
Experience from previous internships or other multi-person projects, including open source contributions will be a plus.
Passionate about learning new technologies both through independent research and with guidance from a mentor.
Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
