Job Description
The Copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects, working closely with brand managers and creatives team and brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging. Understanding the brand, products, and our targets is required to deliver words and verbal content that accompanies the visual elements.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with brand management and creatives team to discuss the brand’s requirements and core messages, and brainstorm on visuals, concepts, and copy ideas
- Responsible for taking a brand's marketing brief and generating original copy ideas that grab the attention of the target audience in ecommerce platforms.
- Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action to help bring the campaigns to life
- Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by brand, or target audience
- Ensure spelling, grammar, and final touches
- Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in copywriting
- Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in marketing or advertising, web, ecommerce, product, brand messaging and promotional copy
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in English, Communications, or related major
- Attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
