IT Application Quality Analyst  

This position is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems.

To make sure that testing is well defined, planned and executed. The analyst does this by ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.

• Candidate to understand manufacturing processes and how each is translated to system information from MES and factory applications, then to Oracle
• Capable of successfully engaging customers in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Able to work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
• Ability to think abstract – to ensure ability to not conform to the norm. Norms do not find bugs quickly.
• Experiences in Quality Management Software and Processes specifically HP UFT/QTP
• Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested
• Background in PHP, (Active Server Page) and web-scripting (VB script or Java Script), Visual Basic, VB.Net is an advantage
• Bachelors degree in engineering or information technology.
• 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in software quality or testing
• Strong customer focused attitude with good communication skills
• Experience in working with a multi vendor and multi location projects working as a consultant is a plus
