Job Description
Position Purpose:
Center of Excellence Specialist is responsible for storing data and records for document retrieval and archives. Develops, prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to business processes, systems operation, and other technical processes. Researches, reviews, and collects available technical information as basis for documentation. Creates new documentation or updates existing documentation to accurately reflect changes in a product or process. Writes and maintains end user documentation or on line instructional content.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Communicates process and product complexities in a straightforward manner.
- Expected output examples are (but not limited to) process and data flowcharts using Visio tools, task/activities descriptions, information management flow description, etc.
- Use different delivery methodologies such as pictures, charts, diagrams, graphs or animation.
- Ability to communicate orally and written with business units resources (all levels) as well as computer engineers, architects and software developers (IT all levels).
- Will gather feedback and update their work as needed.
- Ability to work with multiple tasks simultaneously
- The basic responsibility is to document departmental processes and data flow requirements and incorporate visuals for technical documents. He or she is also responsible for learning the processes complexities and conveying this information to the project teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess Bachelor’s/College Degree, any field
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Proficient in computer software programs such as, word processors, spreadsheet programs, and database systems
- Basic analytical experience
- Proficient typing skills
- Data organization and storage knowledge
- Ability to build strategic working relationships, to facilitate agreement with internal and external partners
- Good and strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Highly creative and innovative
- Have good interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills
- Must have good negotiation skills
- Background on Project Management is preferred
- Willing to work on shifting hours, graveyard.
- Willing to work in Commonwealth, Q.C.
- Can start ASAP
