Job Description
Position Purpose:
Leadership Development Trainer holds responsibilities for developing multiple levels of leadership throughout the business through development, facilitation and implementation of processes and training. This position requires a high level of communication skills and the ability to partner with leadership throughout the organization.
A strong level of personal accountability is required as this position will engage in multiple initiatives and the development of front line supervisors and managers. This position also requires a comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles and operational & coaching best practices to ensure the application of effective training through observation and feedback sessions for leadership. The position has assigned tasks which encompass the following components:
- Leadership Development Delivery & Support
- Operational Engagement
- Project Management
- Training Needs Analysis
- Training Program Implementation & Management
- Training Effectiveness Appraisal & Improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree education preferred.
- One year facilitation experience preferred.
- Operational leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in leading multiple projects and directly supervising staff to implement projects in timely manner is required.
- Proficiency in communication, planning, leadership, coordinating, and coaching is required.
- Experience being directly involved in curriculum development projects.
- Experience in conflict resolution/negotiation, team and consensus building is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- The ability to look for and implement solutions that improve performance is required.
