Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible in ensuring completeness and proper accounting of all transactions in books on accounts. S/he is also responsible in all statutory compliances and cash management of the platform s/he is in-charge.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Cash Management
B. Review of Disbursement Vouchers (Vendor invoices, Employee Reimbursement, Liquidation)
C. Monthly (or as scheduled) closing activities
- Cut-off for all regular recurring transactions
- Review of Bank Reconciliation, Expense Accruals and Prepayments
- Intercompany transactions including Transfer Pricing calculation
- Preparation of allocation table for common expenses and Validation allocation keys
- Review of Journal Entries
- Preparation and generation of Financial Statement Reports for Review
- Monitoring and restatement of foreign currency-denominated assets and liabilities
- Hedge Accounting
D. Monthly Management Reports
- Departmental Costs Schedule and Variance Analysis
- Review of Philippine cost input template
E. Preparation of Monthly Rolling Forecast (inputs)
F. Preparation/Review/Submission of the following statutory reports
- Bureau of Internal Revenue
- PEZA Quarterly Report
- NSO Quarterly Report
- BSP Annual Report
- SEC
G. Support Mid-year, Interim and Yearend Internal and Financial Audit Process
H. Annual Budget Process (inputs)
I. Liaise with Banks
- Loan Application/Payment
- Dollar Conversion
- Forward Contract
- Miscellaneous Banking Transactions
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy and must be a Certified Public Accountant
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting (financial statement & closing activities preparation) and audit
- Experience in the Philippines Tax System
- Knowledgeable in any accounting ERP Systems (Navision, Peachtree, SAP, Oracle, MYOB, etc.)
- Preferably with supervisory experience but not required
- This is a work from home setup but applicants must be amenable to report to office in UP Ayala Technohub, Quezon City if needed
