Special Projects Officer  

OPPORTUNITY

ARK, a social impact organization, wants to add a full-time Special Projects Officer to be a key part of the team. The role can be based in any of the following sites: Metro Manila; Coron, Palawan; Capiz or Iloilo in Western Visayas. This key officer will travel between these different sites and in other locations across the country.

The Special Projects Oficer is primarily responsible for managing ARK's two key programs: Venture and Scholarships.

THE WORK

• For the Venture program, act as an entrepreneur-in-residence; develop and operate homegrown ARK start-up social enterprises and ventures
• Identify entrepreneurial opportunities with partner communities; build market studies and create business models that will solve for their dreams
• For the Scholarship program, manage its operations; develop guidelines and plans for internships, mentorship, and job placements;
• Secure partnerships and linkages that will fuel the new business ventures and the scholars' growth;
• Spend extensive time traveling between our partner communities to setup their operations, track their progress, and problem solve
• Spearhead other special projects and programs in partnership with strategic partners, investors and global team

ARK is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the US and a registered NGO foundation in the Philippines.
