Job Description

Analysis and Design

  • Analyze the clients’ needs before the beginning of the team’s software projects.
  • Assist in the analysis and design phases of the projects.

Writing and Testing Code

  • Write clean, readable, and maintainable code for the application to be developed.
  • Improve the codebase by performing automated test runs and further refactoring code.

Debugging

  • Identify problem points in the application and record the results.
  • Debug and troubleshoot any problems in the applications

Maintenance and Upgrades

  • Create new functionality upon the clients' request.
  • Research and implement new technology that can be used to fulfill the clients’ needs.

Minimum Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer to be responsible for overseeing our existing junior developers on projects and supporting various development duties. Our goal is to create and develop websites and tools using different programming techniques to support our upcoming projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any other related course
  • At least 5 years professional work experience in IT company, or any related industry
  • With experience in managing teams and projects
  • Proficient in one of the programming languages:
    • Ruby
    • Python
    • Java
    • PHP
  • Bonus points for skills in Server Management and Amazon Web Services
  • Good English communication skills, analytical skills and time management
  • We are completely work-from-home for the foreseeable future, so decent internet connection is required.
  • Willing to work in Ayala Avenue, Makati City once the company resumes to work on site
  • Work-From-Home schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8AM-5PM (with 1-hour lunch break)
