Job Description

The Recruitment Officer is responsible for implementing policies and programs on recruitment for efficient sourcing, screening and placement of all manpower requirements within the organization and acquired projects. Other responsibilities are as follows:

  • Receive, check completeness, and validate information of Manpower Requisition and Job Description (JD).
  • Source qualified applicants through different channels such as:
    • Talent bank
    • Internet/newspaper ads
    • Email blasts
    • Referrals
    • Head hunters
    • Manpower agencies
    • Job fairs
    • Posters
    • Leafleting
    • On – campus recruitment
  • Conduct resume screening to profile candidates for in-house specific positions.
  • Conduct initial interviews, occasionally administer and score proficient tests (Math, English, Computer Literacy, etc.), and prepare initial interview assessment.
  • Closely coordinate with the concerned interviewer regarding interview schedules.
  • Prepare Job Offer (JO) sheet and conduct salary negotiation to successful candidates in non-managerial posts.
  • Conduct reference checks on the candidate’s previous employers.
  • Closely coordinate and ensure completeness of the pre-employment requirements of the successful candidates.
  • Prepare reports on hiring statistics, served PRs, weekly/monthly status, and other recruitment reports requested by Management.
  • Closely coordinate with HR-Training and HR-Administration on Contract Preparation, Employee Updates Form, Personnel Information Sheets, Employee / Company Orientation before deployment of new hires.
  • Facilitate contract signing with the new-hires on their first working day.
  • Prepare 201 files of new-hires and safekeep their records during their probationary period and endorse the same to HR-Administration upon regularization.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the recruitment team in meeting overall manpower and recruitment objectives.
  • Recommend and implement recruitment campaigns for active positions as well as for manpower pooling.
  • Spearhead tie ups with educational institutions to ensure a constant stream of available graduates.
  • Closely coordinate manpower requirements and maintain good relations with accredited manpower agencies and head hunters.
  • Research for new, low, or no cost sources of supply to meet manpower requirements (eg. free online job postings).
  • Hire through the most cost-effective sources and reduce recruiting costs.
  • Promulgate and continuously improve on the recruitment guidelines and procedures to ensure fast and orderly implementation of recruitment efforts.
  • Cultivate and promote sound recruitment practices in the interest of the Management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or Human Resource Management from a reputable school/university.
  • Preferably with MBA or MA degree/units holder.
  • 2-5 years experience in the same capacity.
  • Familiar with advertising industry and or mass manpower hiring and deployment set-up.
  • HR Generalist or specializing in Recruitment.
  • Knowledgeable in the Philippine Labor Laws.
  • Highly analytical with excellent leadership skills.
  • Above average communication skills.
  • Can deal with all levels in the organization.
  • Can work under pressure and deliver results on time.
  • Organized and systematic.
  • Adept with the different computer applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and HRIS.
