Job Description

1. Prepare General Journal entries through Journal Vouchers for the following: a. Book reconciling items from the bank reconciliation statements b. Periodic depreciation c. Fund transfers d. Other pertinent adjusting entries

2. Consolidate reports of Disbursements Accountant and Receipts Accountant

3. Prepare periodic financial statements

4. Assist in the preparation of periodic account analyses, adjusting entries, lead sheets, working papers and related schedules

5. Review of payroll summary from HR department before check or debit advice preparation
6. Review of correctness and completeness of entries in the General Ledger

7. Review of correctness and completeness of entries in the manual books of accounts

8. Monitor periodic bank reconciliation for all bank accounts

9. Monitor lapsing schedule and inventory of property and equipment

10. Ensure timely registration of books of accounts

11. Supervise accounting personnel assigned to General Accounting

Minimum Qualifications

At least one year experience in related field
Accounting Graduate
Detail-oriented
Fresh graduates may apply as well
