- Primarily tasked to provide legal corporate, commercial and tax support.
- Responsible for corporate tax planning relative to new and existing tax laws and regulations.
- Manage tax audits and other BIR-related engagements.
- Provides advice and support to the Finance and Accounting Department on tax issues related to their day-to-day operations
- Drafts, reviews, updates and revises corporate contracts and agreements.
- Documents resolutions passed by the Management Committee, Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Stockholders.
- Monitors, documents and ensures corporate compliance with a0 Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) matters, and b0 commercial contracts, intellectual property rights, and other commercial matters.
- Renders well written and researched legal opinions properly supported by prevailing law and jurisprudence.
- Provides legal and jurisprudential updates regarding corporate, commercial and tax laws to management.
- Liaises with government agencies and instrumentalities on legal matters.
- Performs other legal tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Bachelor of Laws;
- Member of Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
