Accounting Assistant  

Responsible in the administrative works of the department that includes preparation and filing of the documents for various payments, ensures that mandatory deductions are being remitted on time and that communications reach all concerned immediately.

1. Records the daily transactions to the books of accounts and files the documents and their attachments properly.

2. Prepares checks for various payments.

3. Summarizes the daily cash running balances of all ACDI depository banks.

4. Logs and arranges in series the official receipts of all branches to comply with BIR requirements.

5. Prints and binds the books of accounts for the year.

6. Prepares the wwkly inter-branch transaction reports to be sent to Branches for reconcilliation.

7. Submits all requirements, mandatory deductions/contributions to concerned offices and government agencies (SSS loan and contibutions, withholding tax remittance, PAG-IBIG loans and contributions).

8. Prepares the cash budget variance report with accompanying notes and analyzes them against the approved budget for the year.

9. Monitors and analyzes the use of the corporate credit cars to avoid over payments.

10. Prepares the MBF and LPF reports for Internal Auditor's requirements.

11. Conducts inventory of filed documents (check and journal vouchers, cash receipts).

12. Assists the Head Office team during external audit activities.

13. Performs other related tasks as may be directed by the Supervisor or Head.
