Job Description
Overview
Under the supervision of the Sales Manager. To contribute assistance on overall brand marketing and new product development activities. Responsible for planning, developing and directing the marketing efforts for a company’s particular brand/ product; coordinates activities in operation, sales, advertising, promotion, research and development, marketing research, purchasing, distribution, package development; accountable for delivering brand’s profit, volume, and market share objectives.
Details of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define the brand’s pricing packaging, trade, merchandising, advertising and promotional strategies
- Helps in developing, and evaluating brand/ marketing strategies based on company goals and market traits. To analyze marketing data, as well as to give equal importance on all existing and new brands/products that the company are promoting.
- To promote marketing distribution ideas within the company including coming out with new promos, and effective advertising/ promotional techniques for the company
- Conduct market research on new products and market trend
- Writes marketing and promotional briefs and conducts marketing presentation
- Participates in promotional activities and trade shows, and market products and services
- Monitors progress or marketing campaigns and compiles records of marketing strategies
- Develops various marketing concepts, materials, programs, and other special events as approved by Sales Manager and the President
- Serves as the primary contact of public relations, and certain business development activities that promote the values of the Company
- Coordinates brand/ product management and/ or cost reduction projects with internal and external resources to achieve results (product development, operation planning, trade promotion, sales, market research, consultants and advertising agencies
- Performs related functions that will be assigned from time to time
