Job Description
- Conducts investigations and other investigative activities on matters pertaining to the security and safety of company assets to include matters of special concerns as may be directed by the Head, Physical Security.
- Conducts investigations on matters pertaining to violations of security and safety policies, regulations and procedures particularly offenses that are subject to disciplinary action under the Employees’ Code of Conduct as directed by the Head, Physical Security.
- Monitors status of violation reports forwarded to HR accounts and Heads of LOBs/divisions/subsidiaries; maintains records and statistics of security and safety violations.
- Conducts investigations on matters pertaining to fraud or fraudulent activities against the interests of the company as directed by the Head, Physical Security.
- Conducts investigations on matters pertaining to loss or damage to company property as directed by the Head, Physical Security.
- Reviews pre-employment background investigation reports and/or reference check reports of candidates for employment submitted by out-sourced providers in coordination with Human Resources.
- Conducts investigative activities on special concerns as directed by the Head, Physical Security.
- Performs other related duties as directed by the Head, Physical Security.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least two (2) full years in college
- Must have at least five (5) years of work experience in the field of security investigation preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficient in conducting interviews and interrogations, appreciating and evaluating evidence and/or possible evidence, conducting technical research in aid of security investigations, preparing investigation reports and powerpoint presentations.
- Equipped with working knowledge of the law particularly in criminal and civil law, and other laws that are applicable in the workplace.
- Proficient in the conduct and/or review of pre-employment background investigations and reference checks.
- Can establish and maintain a network of witting and unwitting informants within and without the company as well as contacts in the field of law enforcement, intelligence, and state security
- Efficient in creating and maintaining administrative records.
- Can design, create and maintain statistics of cases/incidents investigated and such other related matters of interest to security.
