Job Description

Development Program Design & Monitoring

  • Help design career development programs for assigned account in collaboration with LOB managers and Human Resource ensuring adequate acquisition of both technical, organizational and leadership competencies for the trainees.
  • Assist line function in identifying "high potentials" and develop "fast track" programs for their career development.
  • Assist HR/Line function in the selection of appropriate courses/assignments required for career development.
  • Liaise with specialist course providers for the design and delivery of special courses specific to the development program requirements
  • Ensure implementation of the development programs through a mix of foundation courses, immersions, coaching, exposures, external training and on the job training with interfacing departments either on or off site.
  • Develop KPIs for effective monitoring of development progress of assigned accounts
  • Keep intimate contact with the trainees to ensure necessary progress and resolution of issues impeding development
  • Maintain a career development database of trainee development plan process
  • Develop management reporting protocol on Division Career Development activities
  • Benchmarks other programs to stay current on program offerings and trends related to competency, succession and leadership development

Assessment

  • Help develop assessment tools and support mechanisms for development program trainees
  • Design and administer assessment processes in coordination with University, HR and line managers
  • Suggest suitable future career positions for high potentials based on assessment results and developmental assignments.
  • Review "personal development plans", identify appropriate interventions and suggest improvement in light of the company’s succession requirements and business strategies

Account Management

  • Provide inputs to stakeholders and University for budgeting with regard to development program activities.
  • Closely coordinate and partner with mentors in the implementation of development activities
  • throughout the duration of the program
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders, Line Mangers and HR for career development process benchmarking and provide focused feedback.
  • Maintain communication with Career Development Manager of other divisions to develop a standardized career development system for the company.
  • Counsel employees appropriately with line Manager to improve motivation and career development.
  • Ensure all the development program proposals are reflected in the employee appraisal.

Others:

  • Support university in managing multiple projects within timeframes and budget guidelines
  • Establish strong credibility and partnership with organization’s key leaders
  • Stay current on Learning and Development industry trends

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in instructional design, succession and competency development, and assessment centers
  • Knowledgeable on Coaching and Mentoring processes and systems
  • Human relations and interpersonal communications
  • Operation of personal computer equipment and web management
  • Project and Time management and organization of multitasking work requirements
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills; Highly effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to tailor message to different audiences
  • Ability to function with the highest degree of autonomy, exercising self-initiative and creativity and good judgment
  • Resilience and flexibility
