Job Description

The HR Admin Officer performs functions pertinent to the formulation and efficient implementation of sound compensation and benefits policies designed to help retain talents and at the same time provide help in employee motivation in terms of compensation-related rewards in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Validates summarized timekeeping entries and submits payroll details to SSC Payroll for implementation.
  • Attends Payroll Register Review and Prepares Payroll Summary for approval of HR Head and HR Cluster Head.
  • Prepares Manpower Report based on HR Systems’ template and Manpower Report based on Finance template indicating average employee cost on a monthly basis.
  • Monitors the Regularization of employees and trigger email advise to remind the hiring managers on the regular assessment of their employees; Prepare regularization memo and route for approval; Provide SSC a copy of the approved document/s for update of employment status and effectivity of salary adjustment, if applicable.
  • Conduct salary review and prepares Job Offer Sheets for new employees and for existing employees who are recommended for salary adjustment; Prepares PAAF and other related papers to document movements or changes in employee’s compensation and employment status.
  • Formulates local HR policies and procedures to facilitate administration of benefits thereby ensuring timely delivery and responsiveness to actual employee needs.
  • Processes employee benefit availments well ahead of time, coordinates concerned work units for new guidelines and ensure immediate delivery thereon.
  • In-charge of vendor management for payroll and benefit vendors like HMO, Clinic Provider, SSC, etc.
    • Source for vendors with help from parent company
    • Contract implementation
    • Establish 2-way SLA
    • Stands as SPOC for vendors related to HR
  • Develop HRIS improvements/automation of HR processes in partnership with IT; Actively participates in all corporate HRIS initiatives
  • Analyses employee demographic profile, actual needs, while reviewing benefits availment to check responsiveness/relevance and identify areas on how to improve benefit concepts and delivery.
  • Make initiatives to compare salary and benefits in the industry by networking with other HR practitioners to benchmark with the best practice and new ideas.
  • Explore new and better ways and means of delivering employee benefits and related privilege by reviewing current procedures and streamlining them to enhance responsiveness.
  • Perform other functions which may be assigned by the Immediate Superior from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Management, or any related field.
  • Post Graduate degree in business and/or industrial relations is an advantage
  • At least three (3) years work experience in Human Resources or in a similar work environment
  • Familiar with government-mandated benefits
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications – MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
