Job Description
The Metadata Writer is in-charge of metadata development creation of episode synopsis & segment highlights of assigned current programs and content of ABS-CBN Channel 2 and its subsidiries archived in the Media Asset Management System (MAMS) and published on various digital platforms including iWantTV,tfc.tv, YouTube and Sky-On-Demand.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Previews program episodes and verifies information for each episode
- Fills out all needed fields in MAMS
- Creates episode synopsis, segment highlights/ clip log lines, and English/Filipino log line based on the episode previewed.
- Consults/checks various sources to determine accuracy of metadata provided for each episode
Minimum Qualifications
- College Graduate of a 4 year course (Journalism, Literature, Mass Communication or any related course preferred)
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
- With excellent command of English grammar/language
- With experience in Cataloging/ Archiving
- Must pass the copy test for Metadata Writer post
- Must be willing to work under a Consultant engagement
