Educational Leadership Officer (The Knowledge Channel)  

STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Educational Leadership Officer assists the Operations Director and Educational Leadership Heads/Consultants in the implementation of programs and plans in relation to educational leadership programs for teachers, school heads, supervisors and division superintendents. He/She supervises and implements the creation of curriculum and programs, including logistics and materials support for instructional leadership and training, writing of modules, preparation and coordination of training sessions, and in monitoring and evaluation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program and Content Development
  • Assists in identifying appropriate learning and development needs of teachers, school heads, supervisors and superintendents, and facilitates and writes training needs analysis.
  • Writes, or assists in overseeing the work of writers/content developers, ensuring the quality of training content and facilitating regular technical writers/content developers meetings.
  • Ensures that there is ample supply of training resources – relevant content, training materials and practice manuals.
  • Implements, reviews, and provides feedback on each training session, and ensures that gaps are identified and addressed.
• Training Implementation
  • Processes and schedules cash advances, purchases, billings and payments.
  • Assists in organizing the training team, including recruitment and engagement, orientation, and training of facilitators and trainers.
  • Assists in planning the deployment of facilitators and trainers; schedules the training and prepares the list of facilitators and trainers.
  • Co-facilitates the regular training team briefings, debriefings, and other meetings.
• Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Assists in program evaluations and assessments of results, including preparation of reports.
• Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitors and evaluates performance of subordinates.
  • Serves on appropriate committees.
  • Participates in company activities.
  • Attends to professional and personal growth.
  • Performs other related duties assigned as deemed necessary by the superior.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• LET passer
• With at least 10 years of professional work experience in module development
• Excellent communication skills
