Job Description
- Monitors assigned ABS-CBN events under the Integrated Events ecosystem to help the Integrated Events Team ensure objective alignment, resource synergy, and cost and process efficiency.
- Implements integration initiatives with LOBs and business units organizing events; monitors and evaluates synergy activities, and reports progress and development to the Integrated Events Manager.
- Implements business, administrative, and creative components of identified events outside of LOB and business unit events geared for targeted markets and audiences.
- Collaborates with the Integrated Events Manager to identify, recruit, and develop external project managers and/or events producers to ensure sustained events production throughout the year.
- Ensures the implementation of and compliance for, systems, procedures and processes for event management among internal and external groups mounting events.
- Develops working relationships and coordinates with the external event partners of ABS-CBN. These groups include:
- Corporations and business communities
- Universities and university organizations
- NGOs, foundations and other related organizations
- Government agencies and local government units
- Partners with ABS-CBN LOBs and business units organizing events to foster events integration, collaboration, and synergy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree; a graduate degree is an advantage
- At least two-year experience in organizing events for corporations, business groups, NGOs, communities, schools, government agencies, and local government units; organizing events for television, radio, digital, and other media platforms is an advantage
- People skills, including communication, negotiation, persuasion, and group facilitating
- Business skills, including planning, conceptualizing, organizing, presentations, and sales pitching
- Background in media, journalism, sports, advertising, marketing, and business communication is preferred
- Leadership and organization skills
- Ability to work in a team fostered the environment
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment; excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
