Job Description

The MCN Head will be responsible for programming, marketing, and optimizing video content for ABS-CBN’s MCN properties. The position will work closely with talents, content creators and other support groups such as talent management, production, finance, sales and marketing, technology, digital strategy, and audience management.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the ABS-CBN’s YouTube Multi-Channel Network (MCN). This includes coordinating new video deliveries and uploads, maintaining YouTube creative and strategic tools.
  • Ideate and execute campaigns across the MCN that are focused on increasing subscribers, engagement, and video views per video.
  • Work with video production and audience management to develop and coordinate host and audience interactive programs that drive engagement and growth.
  • Outreach and coordinate with internal and external partners on YouTube collaborations, guest appearances, and social media exchanges and related activities.
  • Work with internal analytics team to develop, maintain, output and speak to weekly dashboard and a monthly report to be distributed to the different stakeholders.

COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent skill in content creation for the digital platform.
  • Deep understanding of current technology and content trends and an ability to evaluate their relevance for the organization.
  • Able to lead digital vision and champion execution.
  • Should have led various digital teams that include content teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital frameworks relevant to the business objectives.
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Experience with mobile operating systems and devices
  • Have a pulse on what’s trending in the world, and the ability to use that knowledge to influence content decisions

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or other relevant field or equivalent education and experience.

Skills:

  • Understanding of digital platforms and their respective models & disciplines (video, mobile, social, tablet); excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills; exceptional attention to detail; must have a background in web content and the ability to write concisely and effectively to create web experiences that are compelling, informative and user-friendly; project management skills, with ability to organize and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Experience with YouTube CMS, YouTube management platforms, Digital Asset Management systems, video player platforms.

Experience:

3 - 5 years demonstrated experience in digital video and YouTube platform.
