Tax Manager  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain rapport and contact with client to ensure appropriate and timely resolutions of tax and other regulatory issues
• Review the work (e.g., tax report) of Tax Supervisor
• Monitor the performance of the Tax Supervisor.
• Advise the team on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
• Assist the Tax Supervisor in ensuring that clients are compliant with BIR, SEC, LGU and other government agencies
• Ensure effective process within tax advisory division.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of taxation laws and continuously improving methods and processes for implementation.
• Analyze practice within tax advisory division and roll-out process flow to improve the system.
• Develop tax management plans for clients’ tax compliance policies, practices, and procedures
• Monitor deliverables of the team.
• Oversee the timely delivery of service to the clients.
• Analyze market opportunities achieve the organization’s revenue goal.
• Roll-out tax strategies for client implementation in relation to the tax planning.
• Coordinate with the Business Development Section to ensure effective workload system for each advisory staff.

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
• Must have a strong background in tax planning and compliance with at least 4 years of experience in tax practice; preferably with background in tax consultancy
