Job Description
The position is responsible for carrying out all the company’s Safety, Health and Environment goals and objectives of promoting, creating, and maintaining compliance to SHE rules and regulations. The position ensures the implementation of SHE programs to protect and preserve the environment, and safeguard the health and safety of the employees.
- Manage the environment, health and safety units through constant monitoring, checking and validation of their activities if done effectively.
- Ensure SHE compliance to regulations through regular review of SHE standards and communication with SHE regulators and Legal department to avoid Notice of Violation
- Ensure on time renewal of SHE permits and licenses through constant monitoring to avoid fines and penalties.
- Ensure proper implementation of SHE policies and management programs through guidance and advisory, orientation and communications to ensure employee participation
- Check and monitor the effectiveness of SHE management programs through Plant inspection, audit and validation if properly implemented
- Conduct Training Need Analysis of the department personnel and employees as well through the OSH standard provisions and recommend for the provision of such trainings as necessary
