Loans Compliance Specialist  

This position oversees and/or reviews financial compliance for all companies in the Coal Business Unit. This position ensures the business unit’s compliance with standards imposed by regulatory agencies, tax authorities, lenders, and other external groups. It contributes to the collation and preparation of regulatory financial and management reporting as required. Aside from compliance, this position is responsible for identifying optimization opportunities and highlighting risk exposures related to tax and loan compliance of the Coal Group as well as drive the organization’s awareness and consciousness towards the Company’s compliance with these standards. This position is also responsible for managing financial system business processes and optimize the same for financial reporting and compliance.

Loan Covenant Compliance

• Maintains monitoring of loan covenant compliance
• Prepares cash forecast and other related reports required by the banks and lenders
• Ensures availability of required funds for operations and compliance to loan covenant requirements.
• Prepares reports for financial covenants as required by the lenders.
• Handles documentations and compliance for any project/top-up financing activities.
• Prepares transfer/withdrawal request and instructions relating to Waterfall Account in a timely manner.
• Prepares and processes payments in a required payment modes and currencies to the banks based on complete and correct set of Accounts Payable (APV) package.
• Encodes completely payment transactions to Oracle System, and generate Payment Vouchers (PV), organize payment document package.
• Completes regular bank reconciliation for all loan related accounts.
• Releases checks or Letter of Instructions to the bank.

Coordination

• Serves as point of contact for lender’s appointed advisers to properly communicate responses to inquiries.
• Directs coordination with AEV-TSG, Banks and Lenders to ensure that instructions and dispositions related to loans are properly executed and documented.

Administrative

• Maintains an orderly and complete filing of all documents related to loans to ensure availability during tax examinations or internal/external audit.

Others

• Performs other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior.

• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• At least two (2) years of experience in Treasury.
