The position is responsible for the development, construction, testing, and maintenance of data management systems.

Responsibilities of the position include the following:

Data Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain optimal data pipeline procedures
• Perform design, creation, interpretation and management of data sets to meet business requirements
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from variety of data sources

Data Security

• Provide appropriate data access to business users

Data Quality

• Perform tests and validate data sets for accuracy and quality
• Identify and solve issues concerning data

Database Management

• Create and maintain databases in the data warehouse and data lake optimized for performance
• Ensure that data is backed up and readily accessible to users

Systems Improvement

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to execute data-related technical activities and support systems improvement needs
