Job Description
The HR Specialist plays a key role in the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information/data.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as support for both Oracle HR Core and ATMS for issues encountered
- Maintains functional set-up of HR systems by making sure modules are functioning per design
- Ensures that the hierarchy of controls, access, and maintenance of the HR systems are properly implemented
- Provides systems support for both HR Core and Talent Management Cloud for issues encountered
- Ensures proper documentation/sign off of HR systems implementation from scoping, design, build, testing, change requests, configurations, etc
- Assists in implementing new configurations in HR module as required by non-HR modules linked to Oracle HR (e.g. Iproc, I-expense, Maximo) and participates in testing when necessary
- Trains and provides troubleshooting tips to other HR team members on features and functionality of HR systems
- Drafts testing plan (test scripts & scenarios), establishes acceptance criteria, and ensures that these are met
- Monitors the proper documentation of functional design, user acceptance sign off, and user manuals
- Coordinates with Information Systems Management team for data/system integration needs
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Information Systems, or any 4-year related course
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office
- Experience in using HR systems such as Oracle
- Experience with Oracle HR Core and ATMS
