Innovation Programs Manager  

The Innovation Programs Manager is responsible for executing strategy for innovation throughout the whole organization. The position supports the VP for Innovation and Change Management in creating a foundation of culture of innovation through establishing strong processes, policies, and frameworks that encourage idea incubation and generation. The position is also expected to form strategic channels in order to drive innovation ideas externally, as well as to constantly obtain industry-specific knowledge, benchmarks, and best practices.

• Identifies and implements an innovation framework that supports overall business goals & strategy; enhances existing goals
• Applies and continuously expands “Execute or Organize” types of activities
• Promotes the establishment of the AP Innovation Hub which demonstrates AP's path toward being the first mover in power sector innovation
• Reports Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, and Information Security events/incidents or potential events, or other security risks to the organization/ committees-in-charge

Experience:

• Professional: 5-7 years of experience in a role that has implemented major transitions. With technical background and exposure to the latest technology trends. At least 3 years of working in multi-industry group. Experience in power industry preferred.
• Leadership: Experience in management of cross functional teams and multi-level organizational stakeholders.
• Project: Experience in transformational projects, project management and program management.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or any 4-year related course from an accredited institution.
