Corporate Communications Writer  

The Corporate Communications Writer reports to the Corporate Communications Manager and is responsible for providing support for corporate communication activities, including researching and developing compelling copy to help drive effective implementation of communication plans, as well as write content for the Group publication presented in print and digital editions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting the team in developing and delivering the objectives of communication plans
• Developing and sharing creative ideas for new communication tactics
• Researching and developing copy for various communications and promotional materials, including e-mailers, brochures, presentations, speeches, news releases, and other collateral as required
• Writing and editing content for Aboitiz Eyes in print and digital editions
• Contributing to the research and writing of speeches, presentations, and thought pieces of our executives
• Coordinating the tactical activities and production of materials related to the implementation of communication plans
• Developing communication campaign awards entries
• Coordinating with vendors as needed including contract review, negotiations and renewal in adherence to accountability and integrity

• Must have a degree in Communication Arts, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing Communications or any other related courses
• With at least 2 years of experience in writing or editing
• Demonstrates knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of business, features, and online content writing
• Aboitiz scholar or Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit alumnus a plus
