Junior Accountant  

The primary responsibility of the Junior Accountant in Accounting Operations and Applications is to ensure that the regular day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department are properly executed. It involves carrying out various accounting functions in order to meet the team’s goals in completing monthly financial results and consolidated reports timely and accurately. Essential to the success of this position is an individual with strong technical skills coupled with a firm sense of commitment for accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Carrying out various accounting functions of disbursement and journal voucher preparation for AEV and ACO
• Updating and monitoring of various schedules and reports to support the balances indicated in the financial statements
• Assisting various teams in adjustments and queries regarding details of charges to each team’s P&L.
• Executing internal control in place such as pre-auditing and validation
• Handling the whole accounting function of smaller companies
• Ensuring accurate and timely remittances of taxes and other government reportorial requirements for companies handled
• Monitoring the balances of certain accounts like Accounts Receivables and Payables, and ensuring timely collection and payments
• Ensuring completeness of Accounting accountable forms and other important documents and supports for various companies handled.
• Participating in various company-wide committees and providing accounting and financial expertise.
• Performing related duties as assigned

• Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
• With at least 1 year of work experience
• CPA viewed favorably
