Job Description
The Junior Meteorologist is responsible for providing timely and accurate meteorological services to stakeholders, partners, and the general public. He/she is also tasked to ensure that all meteorological products are available 24/7, as well as to ensure the availability of weather data.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing weather reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring the availability of weather data (Observed and Forecast)
- Providing Data Quality Check to Observed Weather Data
- Monitoring Daily Forecast Performance
- Ensuring high accuracies of issued meteorological forecasts
- Providing new development and systems for the section
- Conducting pre-sales to possible clients
- May be assigned tasks from time-to-time in the general course of the business
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate, preferably of Engineering, Meteorology)
- With formal meteorological training (with a degree and/or has certification)
- No previous work experience required
