Job Description
The Insurance System Programmer (Project-Based) is responsible for providing technical support during the development, implementation, and maintenance of all insurance process automation.
The Programmer is also tasked to demonstrate leadership and success in complex, secure, high-volume, and highly available processing environments related to design, and implementation of front end development features that will be optimized for web.
Key Responsiblities Include:
- Responsible for technical support in conceptualization, design and development, and implementation of the system
- Implementing a complete user interface in the form of a desktop and tablet web app with focus on performance
- Delivering a complete front end application – user interface
- Communicating with internal web services
- Integrating the UI aspects with changes from the Backend
- Participating in software architecture, design discussions, and code review
- Working in an agile environment, following process guidelines, and delivering tasks
- Supporting Business Process Automation initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a college graduate
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in web development)
- Proficient in Front-end scripting/markup languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience in any Object Oriented Programming languages such as PHP, C++, Java, etc.
- Experience in commonly used CMS platforms (Wordpress, Magento, Joomla, Pyro, etc.)
- Experience in SEO and Analytics a plus
- GSuite familiarity is a plus
- Good command of English language
- Willingness to learn new technology, platforms
