Job Description
The Regional Vendor Manager will be responsible for payroll vendor management in the Growth Market Region. This role provides Procurement and Vendor Management subject matter expertise to the payroll operations teams within the region. Responsible for overseeing the global vendor transition for assigned region and all aspects of vendor selection, contract, and vendor management. Assist in setting/executing vendor strategies, providing thought leadership and direction. Drive third-party vendors to meet or exceed service levels and report on key performance indicators. Work with stakeholders to create an enhanced customer experience for Accenture.
- Partner with other Accenture groups including, but not limited to, Procurement, CIO, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Legal
- Participate in strategic planning sessions for assigned vendors and locations
- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for Payroll executives and teams for vendor related activities and any concerns about vendor; determine (in conjunction with global direction) how to best support initiatives
- Work across multiple vendors as assigned to support additional scope if/when necessary
- Facilitate status meetings between vendor leadership and Accenture leadership as needed
- Partner with others in Payroll organization to address performance opportunities, implement initiatives aimed at resolving low performance, and set direction to ensure proper sustainability initiatives are in place for long term stability
- Direct efforts to ensure contractual metric performance targets are met
- Address escalated vendor related performance concerns and operational issues with appropriate client and Accenture personnel as necessary
- Serve as escalation point of contact for internal Accenture teams and escalate any unresolved vendor related performance issues or concerns to leadership as applicable
- Contract Management -- Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions & Research contractual terms and conditions, applicable laws and or other regulations as needed
- Provide functional expertise on key processes, products, and solutions
- Develop knowledge about suppliers in a certain industry or commodity
- Apply core management skills such as organizing and planning
- Work with Accenture Leadership/Service Delivery Lead (SDLs)/Payroll Advisors in identifying and development of optimization opportunities
- Support in identifying problems and provide resolutions using root cause analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree course
- Undergraduates
- Must have 6 years Vendor, Contract, Procurement and Consulting Management experience
- Ability to develop successful working relationships with key leaders
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Vendor transition projects and Relationship management
- Able to articulate/position complex/critical challenges, issues, etc.
- Strong oral and written English communications skills
- Good to have the following:
- Payroll vendor management experience
- Experience working in a global, virtual environment with a virtual team across time zones
- Experience managing vendors who are software or managed services providers
- Payroll operations experience
- Procurement experience in multiple countries
- Lean Six Sigma experience / background.
- Any global language for growth market
- Work From Home, Regular Shift and Must be able to support other Business Unit
