Job Description
- Translation services (e.g. emails, tickets error information) from English to Japanese and/or vice-versa
- May require interpretation service during conferences or meetings with counterparts, clients and third party vendors
- Initiate and implement quality assurance and process improvements activities
- Assist in development of bilinguals by conducting knowledge transfers and/or trainings
- Ability and interest to learn business, tools, and technical terminologies
- Ability to use and contribute in strengthening translation tools to increase productivity
- Works with teams and diverse range of people
- NIce to have:
- JLPT Passer (N3 level or higher)
- TOEIC Score (600 or higher)
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbal and written, in both English and Japanese - HIragana, Katakana, and Kanji
- Familiar with MS Office tools such as, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, and MS Excel
- Amenable to work on Holidays, Weekends, Shifting schedule, and extended working hours
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Willing to learn and work in an IT environment
