We’re looking for a Sr. Accountant, what does it take to become one?
Think of yourself as the person who is responsible for the activities assigned by the Finance and Accounting Lead and performs regular standard tasks but with the opportunity to vary work sequencing.
As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible in the tasks below:
To support the fixed asset accounting processes, period-end close and reporting activities of client's reporting entity.
- Analyze, research and prepare monthly & quarterly variance analysis to management
- Perform account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances where necessary
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries in compliance with GAAP
- To successfully perform various ad hoc projects as requested
Minimum Qualifications
We're looking for an experienced professional with the skill set below:
- 2 to 3 years of related working experience in Fixed Asset
- Knowledge in preparation of monthly SL/GL reconciliation of Fixed Assets accounts
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet and P&L Flux Analysis
- Fixed Asset Period end close
- Knowledge in SOX/Audit documents required Monthly/Quarterly.
- Propose process improvements for more work efficiency
- Soft Skills and Expectations:
- MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Oracle 11i or 12R
- Hyperion/Essbase
- Proficiency with English language
Working Conditions
- Location: Gateway Tower 1 - Cubao
- Cyclical work shift including work hours at night
- Overtime and On-Call may be required
- Client holidays are observed instead of Philippine or local holidays
