Network Operations Analyst  

•Assist in managing the delivery of large scale network infrastructure projects involving dark fiber, leased circuits, collocation space & power, inside plant fiber, IP Transit and Peering connectivity from inception through delivery. Ensure facilities are delivered on schedule and meet technical specifications.
•Coordinate with project and program managers throughout the order lifecycle
•Assist upstream planning, design, and acquisition teams in developing infrastructure requirements, priorities, and delivery date expectations.
•Track carrier order progress of adds/changes/disconnects and install activities
•Escalate missed milestones, ping testing, and overseeing implementation of network capacity for corporate offices and data centers worldwide.
•Schedule material/equipment installation and coordinate human resources
•Monitor installation tasks to ensure responsiveness from installer/engineer/designer
•Manage cradle-to-grave implementation activities to meet aggressive deadlines
•Lead discussions with carriers and external customers, work closely with internal departments, and document tickets in status tracking database.

•2-3 years experience in Telecommunications / Network Provisioning
•Interprets and models network information, creating new documents based on researched data including spreadsheets, text documents, maps, and diagrams
•Performs data entry into various network documentation systems including Moglog and NetCracker.
•Experience and working knowledge on OSI Layer 1 (Physical) and 2 (Datalink) troubleshooting (WAN point to point connection)
•Familiarity with network path elements in data centers such as router ports, patch panels, DWDM and other transport equipment.

•Performs basic geo data management functions including data adds, moves and changes of network OSP/ISP infrastructure and other entities
•Experience with ordering and implementing either voice, data, cross-connect, leased waves, or bulk / dark fibers.
•Knowledge of cabling infrastructure, fiber cabling, connector types, optical distribution frames, splice trays, patch panels, various vendor’s naming conventions
