Job Description
- Prepares and review real estate contracts and other legal documents;
- Coordinates with, and provides legal opinion to the different departments of the company regarding legal queries that affect the company's day-to-day operations;
- Ensures the legality of commercial transactions, advising the management on their legal rights and duties in areas of contract law, tax, accounting, intellectual property rights, human resource, and the laws specific to the business of the company;
- Represents the company in the proceedings with the judicial and quasi-judicial bodies;
- Keeps systematic filing of all legal records, documents, and contracts;
- Performs other legal functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess a PROFESSIONAL LICENSE IN LAW;
- With at least 2 years experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiations;
- With at least 2 years experience in real estate industry;
- Computer literate especially in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint;
- Knowledgeable in Philippine commercial law, real estate law, and taxation;
- Highly organized, analytical, and keen on details;
- Must be available to start immediately.

On October 1, 2013, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the change in its corporate name to the present one and the change in its primary purpose to that of a holding company.

In May 2013, in line with the objective to consolidate certain real estate companies owned or controlled by Iholdings, Januarius and Kwantlen, the Company acquired all of the outstanding shares in 8990 Housing Development Corporation, 8990 Luzon Housing Development Corporation, Fog Horn, Inc., 8990 Leisure and Resorts Corporation, 8990 Davao Housing Development Corporation and 8990 Mindanao Housing Development Corporation.
Having disposed of its information technology and telecommunications business in 2012 and following its corporate reorganization, the Company is operating, through its subsidiaries, as a low-cost mass housing developer. As of December 31, 2013, the Company completed 16 mass housing projects comprising approximately 14,000 housing units under the DECA Homes and Urban DECA Homes brands.
