ChatGenie is at forefront of the Mini App revolution where online transactions are being facilitated within non-conventional eCommerce platforms like social media, messaging, live streaming, and mobile wallet apps.

About ChatGenie

ChatGenie started as a Chatbot (Conversational Commerce) Platform Product in 2018, pivoted to offering customized Mini Apps (Transactional Commerce) in 2019, and eventually launched a self-service Mini App Platform for eCommerce in February 2020.

Since the pandemic started, we onboarded over 1,800 merchants, facilitated over P100,000.000 worth of transactions within the platform, and generated over P5,000,000 of gross revenue.

Currently, our merchants can launch their Sales channel on Messenger, GCash, soon on Viber, PayMaya, and other platforms. We are excited about this journey and we believe that selling on non-conventional eCommerce platforms will be more active in the next few years.

The project manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects. This includes managing employees, setting deadlines, communicating with other managers and clients about the status of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary to meet new requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help in leading weekly scrum and mid-week meetings
• Coordinate with internal team and clients with overall project updates and requirements
• Monitor tasks and tickets status
• Measure project and team performance using the available tools and techniques
• Evaluate the needs of the team in terms of resources and jobs, and ensure that these are met, maintain a good standard of commitment and team motivation to create a work environment that promotes productivity
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Foster and maintain relationships with clients
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Develop and maintain thorough project documentation
• Carry out the follow-ups of the team and provide other managers with information on the progress of the work on a regular basis;
• Troubleshoot issues that cause delays on the project

Skills and Experience

• Time management: The PM will work with employees, clients, and management, often wearing multiple hats at the same time
• Analytical Skills: The PM will need to solve problems that may occur during a typical workday. The PM will be analyzing data and making decisions on a regular basis that affect the project
• Verbal Communication: The PM will need excellent client-facing skills and internal communication skills
• Organizational Skills: The PM should have solid organizational skills including keen attention to details and multitasking skills
• Presentation Skills: Well versed in using our presentation tools and can communicate his/her reports well to an audience

General Requirements

• Experience in working with at least 2 Static Websites and 2 Dynamic Web Apps/Mobile Apps.
• Strong willingness to learn, and fast learner. Shows self-initiative on unassigned tasks.
• Has a growth mindset and willing to wear multiple hats (Along with this job, you’ll be mentored to become operations manager)
