MANILA, Philippines – In partnership with Kalibrr, Lamudi successfully opened the Lamudi Future Leaders Program (LFLP) to fresh graduates aspiring for leadership roles. LFLP is a year-long management training program geared to boost a young professional’s career. It was officially launched on August 6, 2018 and with the help of Kalibrr, it has garnered over 700 applications since then.

Applicants who qualified for the program will have a chance to get full exposure to Lamudi’s workplace and work alongside the company’s high caliber employees. Included in the program are mentorship opportunities from top management and problem-solving exercises. With the goal of finding potential talents that are driven to excel in five key Management Trainee positions: IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations, different program sets were laid out, giving shortlisted candidates access to learning opportunities in different job functions.

In terms of candidate selection, the Lamudi Future Leaders Program seeks out individuals from the top universities in the Philippines and screens their academic background. At the culmination of the program, successful trainees will be granted new position titles and continue their journey in Lamudi as regular employees.

Out of more than 700 applications, Lamudi was able to shortlist 80 candidates who were then invited to an open-house session at Spaces World Plaza, BGC last September 24, 2018. In order to welcome the new members of the program and formally introduce them to the company, Bhavna Suresh, CEO of Lamudi, gave the opening remarks and delivered an inspiring message for the attendees. According to her, “Responsibility at such a young age teaches you so much more, so imagine at 26 or 27, you’re already responsible for handling your own team. This just doesn’t happen to everyone and the decisions you make are not yours alone; they impact the whole team. That’s an added learning that you can get at a high-growth company.” The event also brought in Lamudi employees to speak about the “Lamudi experience” and share their individual journeys in the company. After a few more speaking points and team collaboration activities, the open-house session reached a successful conclusion.

Applications for the Lamudi Future Leaders Program are still on-going. To apply, visit: www.lamudi.com.ph/futureleadersprogram/.
