MANILA, Philippines - Kalibrr Talent Services, Inc. (Kalibrr Pro),  the professional recruitment service arm of Kalibrr, celebrated its 1st-year anniversary through an outreach program held last October 6, 2018 at Poblacion Park, Makati. In an effort to give back, the company invited twenty families including more than 90 individuals residing in Barangay Poblacion to partake in the festive celebration with KTS employees. The person who spearheaded the program was Boom Montances, KTS’s Solutions Consultant. “With all the wins and successes of the company, now is our time to give back our blessings by paying it forward to the less fortunate families of Brgy. Poblacion.”

The event was opened by the Managing Director of Kalibrr Talent Services, Amherstia Ojerio, who shared a few words to welcome the residents, “Thank you for celebrating with us today. Dahil ang Kalibrr Talent Services ay tubong Poblacion din, we want to give back to you all the successes of our company.”

There was a very festive feeling throughout the day as each kid, teenager, and parent actively participated in various games. Aside from the recreational activities, there was also a storytelling session for the kids, distribution of books, and a raffle at the end of the program. KTS also offered giveaways with the help of their sponsors including Tough Mama for the game and raffle prizes. Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, in partnership with Makati Golden Lions Club, and Chatime were responsible for the food accommodations. The families also left with their own eco-bags containing items from other sponsors including Globe Telecom, Nestle, Splash Corporation, Centro Asia Distribution Inc., and Maria Health which provided prepaid HMO cards.

According to Montances, “Normally, we celebrate our milestones with drinks and parties. This one is very unusual but very rewarding. The effort was really worth it. Even though we had limited budget and limited time to accomplish all those, the experience was priceless.”

When asked about how the residents felt about the event, Assistant Barangay Kagawad Ria Razon answered, “Enjoy talaga sila. Masaya sila sa mga natanggap nila. Okay na ganoon ang ginawa nyo, kasi mas nakatulong kayo. Imbis na nagcelebrate kayo ng inyo, pinili niyo na magbigay.”

With the overall success of the event, Kalibrr intends to continue organizing more programs like these as they realize that the true value of success comes from creating an impact in the lives of other people.
