Job Description

  • Provide strategic public relations counsel

- Work closely with clients in developing communication
strategies that help them achieve their business
objectives
- Immerse in the client’s culture, language, product,
services and get to know their stakeholders fully
- Gather inputs from the client’s team as a means of
developing brand and product content strategy
- Collaborate with other members of the Agency team
to build strategies, messages and content for that is
appropriate for the channels relevant to Agency clients

  • Provide day-to-day public relations support for clients within the relevant PR team cluster by organizing meetings and collating reports, as needed
  • Manage media relations tactics for business, trade and lifestyle media outlets
  • Coach and advise the public relations team on pitching media on client’s behalf
  • Collaborate with media relations specialists to facilitate interviews and assist client in responding to media requests
  • Lead in the development of client-facing materials such as presentations, messaging, recommendations and news releases – ensure an integrated approach to client programming
  • Lead in finding new business opportunities within current accounts as well as outside of the Agency’s client portfolio
  • Strengthen team’s capability through effective leadership and direction of personnel
  • Consistently identify and pursue opportunities for enhancing personal involvement and contributions to accounts, team and agency
  • Maintain high standards of quality for all materials released on behalf of client; adhere to AP style and client style and brand guidelines
  • Assure effective and smooth-running client relationships through regular and transparent communications with client contacts
  • Lead the development of public relations plans and campaigns and review them before they are presented to clients
  • Commit to follow through each task and project to the end and perform thorough reviews of all completed projects for future learnings

Minimum Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Five or more years of work experience in public relations, media relations, communications, or a related field
  • Deep knowledge in corporate, consumer and crisis communications
  • Experience in P&L management
  • Demonstrated capability in social media, digital and integrated communications approaches
  • Superior organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail
  • Seasoned client leadership and counseling skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Highly flexible and entrepreneurial approach to work
  • Team-oriented, ability to manage and mentor team members
